High sugar fruits and its impact on baby's sleep

Fruits are good for our kids, but some of it can cause “side effects” if given at incorrect time, what will cause spike of activity and will effect on baby sleep.

Fruits have natural sugar, and some have more than others. One shall avoid giving sugary fruits (though it contains natural sugar), after lunch time and specially before bedtime as it will complicate sleep making and will make your baby facing troubles with falling asleep or to have sleep in stretch.

Best time for sugary fruits is morning (breakfast), where child can have all the benefits out of it - good amount of vitamins and spike of needed energy.

Here’s the list of fruits, you shall AVOID to give before sleeps:

 

Mango: contains 45 gram of sugar

Grape: contains 23 gram of sugar

Cherries: 18 grams of sugar

Pears: 17 gram of sugar

Watermelon: 17 gram of sugar

Figs: 16 gram of sugar

Banana: 14 gram of sugar

 

On other side, there is a fruits with low sugar content which is good to GIVE any time:

 

Avocado: contains 1 gram of sugar Guavas: 3 grams of sugar

Raspberries: 5 grams of sugar

Cantaloupe: 5 grams of sugar

Papayas: 6 gram of sugar (avoid if baby facing loose motions after it)

Strawberries: 7 grams of sugar
